Lisa Petruccelli
Owner, Coach
Athletics, Fitness and Wellness have been a part of Lisa’s life since she was old enough to play ball in the yard. Lisa was a 3-sport athlete in high school, 2-sport athlete in college, collegiate soccer coach and fitness and wellness professor for 25 years. She has coached high school and college track and field and she was a certified swim instructor. Lisa is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association for the past 20 years. She is a Certified Health Coach with the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute and a TRX qualified trainer.
Lisa was a competitive athlete in soccer, softball, basketball and track & field. After competing in soccer and track & field for Smith College she progressed to collegiate coaching and participating in recreational soccer leagues. Lisa eventually moved away from competitive team sports and began running, swimming, cycling and strength training to stay healthy. She enjoys kayaking, paddle boarding, golfing, hiking and skiing.
Train Your Inner Athlete was established in the fall of 2012. The name Train Your Inner Athlete stems from Lisa’s belief that WE ARE ALL ATHLETES. It doesn’t matter if you played sports in school or if you golf, ski, run road races, walk the neighborhood or perhaps you are just considering getting off the couch; your body is designed for movement. Training your body to be strong, flexible and balanced makes you an ATHLETE.
Lisa believes the key to successful coaching is being able to meet people where they are and help them create a plan to achieve their goals. Goals range from getting up off the couch, to managing health in a fast-paced life, to being able to keep up with grandchildren, to racing in a 5K, to competing in triathlons. Whatever your goal, Lisa will help you get there. The application of her knowledge of strength exercises, cardiovascular development, periodization, nutrition, goal setting and team culture guides her to help her athletes reach their peak performance.

Melora gregory
Yamuna Body Rolling
Melora discovered Yamuna Body Rolling® in 2003. This bodywork achieves the therapeutic benefits of deep tissue massage, myofascial release, bone stimulation and the creation of space in the joints. She feels the positive effects of Yamuna Body Rolling® for herself, and observes the healing in others as they try it.
In 2009 Melora became certified in Yamuna Body Rolling® Level 1 and 2, and began teaching this modality to a rapidly expanding student base in Maine. She expanded her training and acquired the YBR Foot Fitness Certification in 2011, and the YBR Advanced Ball Certification in 2012, both of which I took with the founder of the practice, Yamuna Zake.
